The El Kaktus trio are young and promising students of jazz music studying in Austria, who don’t care about genre-based limitations. Their repertoire therefore includes soul, R&B, and pop music.
Patricija Škof began her musical path as a pianist and, after finishing her musical high school programme at the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt, proceeded to study jazz vocals at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz under the mentorship of Professor Deni DeRose. Patricija also took lessons with renowned musicians such as Charenee Wade, Norma Winstone, JD Walter, Ana Bezjak, Marko Črnčec, Sachal Vasandani, Gregory Hutchinson, Kate McGarry, Theo Bleckmann...
Tibor Pernarčič is a student of jazz saxophone at the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt under the mentorship of Professor Michael Erian. He plays with various Slovenian and foreign musicians, both in small combo line-ups and larger bands and orchestras.
Following his musical studies at the Jazz Department of the Karol Pahor Musical School in Ptuj, Tin Vele is currently a student of jazz guitar at the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt.
