Jeff Jensen’s guitar playing is ‘fast & furious’ but you can hear in every note that this man has got the feeling for the Blues – this man is living the Blues. Jeff Jensen can sing and does some really great song writing. His live performances are just phenomenal – whether he is rocking the stage with his long hair and beard flying and his fast fingers hammering the guitar or whether he’s singing a ballad or slow blues – Jeff will always catch the audience and make them wanting more of this authentic, true Rock ’n’ Roll and Blues atmosphere.
The Jeff Jensen Band was founded in Memphis / Tennessee in 2011 and only in 2015 did the band decide to start touring in Europe. Since then they have made successful appearances at club gigs and festivals in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia. A hard-working band that convinced fans, critics and promoters within a short period of time they are bringing “Good music to good people”.
Their last studio albums Road worn and ragged and Morose Elephant reached the Top 10 of various U.S. and international Blues Charts. In 2016, the Jeff Jensen Band The River City Sessions and were nominated for the ‘Blues Blast Award’ in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Bill Ruffino – bass and background vocals, from Memphis, who has been playing with Jeff Jensen for 14 years, and the young and excellent drummer David Green from Atlanta/Georgia are the perfect partners for this great band.
