Energetic, deeply rooted folk music tradition
Members of the folk dance group who perform under the name Culture and Art Association Sevojno are bringing to Maribor their folk dance group. They are the embodiment of what we consider Serbian traditional music.
It is a well-known fact that the Serbs have a passionate and special connection with music. Never will you hear them say they play or sing their music; they feel it and they express these emotions through song and music. Their music always carries a deep message that takes us into a world of beauty and love. The Serbs carry their hearts on their sleeves and wish to tell the whole world of their love for their homeland and of how proud they are of their culture. We’re in for an unforgettable, fiery performance filled with nostalgia.
