Some have nicknamed the original music of MatJazz band the ‘Alpine jazz’. Well, not completely off-target – the band play jazz and do so using an accordion. But don’t expect waltzes and polkas; get ready for modern jazz in swing, Bossa nova, Samba and Afro style.
MatJazz are Matjaž Dajčar, music writer, on guitar, Matjaž Balažic on accordion, and Luka Herman Gaiser on double bass.
