Time Travel Trio

Using a wide range of traditional instruments from all of the world, the artists paint a landscape that embodies the spirit of the heritage and sources they draw from while adding elements of hip hop, funk, jazz, and electro effects, which makes their music sound very urban and modern.

The Time Travel Trio is a project by three experienced music artists who embarked on a journey into unusual musical worlds and traditions. Naturally, their main motivation is their love of music and the desire to study rhythms of peoples who live in other parts of this rock we call the world, some of them very remote.

Some of the styles the trio travel to are the Moroccan trans-inducing gnawa, Arabic maqam, West-African mandingue and, last but not least, classical Indian music.

Using a wide range of traditional instruments from all of the world, the artists paint a landscape that embodies the spirit of the heritage and sources they draw from while adding elements of hip hop, funk, jazz, and electro effects, which makes their music sound very urban and modern. Side effects this kind of music may have on the audience include partial or full Shamanist trance and a feeling of eternity of the universe.
