Moving street theatre performance
Three elderly gentlemen Tom, Tom & Tom, move through the streets and interact with bystanders. Simple, fun, and socially conscious – our three gentlemen are all elderly citizens, so the performance appeals to our relationship with the elderly, whom our society tends to treat only as voters and forgets about all other aspects of their lives …
There’s nothing these gentlemen can’t do! They turn squares into a yoga class, crawl up lampposts, behave as babysitters and personal trainers. Most of all, they always try to find themselves in the most (im)possible positions.
RavArt perform their theatrical acts off-stage, because they believe that theatre isn’t something that happens inside four walls, on a stage, far from the audience, but rather among the people in the streets. The audience provides the ingredients for improvisations, helping the performers turn everyday life into theatre. For the audience and with the audience.
