‘With Me to Nowhere’,Saturday, 23 June, 10:00-12:00, most likely on Platform 1
The introductory speech by Marko Brecelj, entitled ‘Sixty Years After’ at the Maribor Central Railway Station, next to the first track of Platform 1, and the first positioning of the exhibition With Me to Nowhere. It was sixty years ago that I took off to Rijeka from what was then a brand new railway station, with my parents and pupils of Angel Besednjak grammar school in tow, and from Rijeka to Novalja by boat. I will speak to you about not coming back and you can watch us exhibit the eggified elects of the masses who are leading us straight to Nowhere. A multi-assed lyrical commemoration.
