Al Fine are four artists with academic degrees whose lives have been associated with music from an early age.
Their bows produce stunning renditions of classical pieces for string quartets and covers of prime pieces of classical music. The quartet also do not shy away from playing a lighter style of music, including include in their sets dance melodies, movies scores, rock and pop hits, and Slovenian evergreen chansons.
After completing their musical studies at the Ljubljana Music Academy, none of the members felt their musical path ends here. They each took their own approach to additional training and education, honing their skills and collecting solo, chamber, orchestra and music teaching miles.
In 2017, they came together as Al Fine (“until the end”). They all believe the road towards the end will be more diverse, colourful and rich if they travel it together. They play and create together, search for the most beautiful sound and the best idea together, and pass on together the special power of music – to evoke emotions, bring back memories and ideas, and make us all more human.
Even if their path is not always easy, their courage and vigour strengthen their belief that everything will be fine if they keep standing united.
