Borut and Andrej have been playing music together since they were kids. Be it as soloists or members or other bands, they appeared in countless festivals, concerts, literary evenings and other cultural events. Together they recorded music for the film Odprava na Himalajo (‘Expedition to Himalaya’) and an album of original poetry-turned-music entitled Naj letim.
Their latest project The Echoes of River Drava was voted 2017 album of the year by the Jazzetna web portal. The music for the album was in the making and maturing for over a decade. Listening to the album, you can feel and hear the influence of various cultures and musical dialects that had an impact on Andrej’s and Borut’s musical development and maturation. Each song is a world of its own, a unique story that immediately takes the listener on a journey through picturesque fantasy worlds.
Both artists hail from Dravograd, are inspired by nature and always accompanied by the river – the same river that gave the name to their artistic creation.
