Svitlana Varava was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. She spent a few years in Ljubljana, studying at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory, and later moved to Graz, Austria to study jazz vocals. Two years ago she founded the band The Undefined, who play original music written by Svitlana.
When listening to music composed by Svitlana, one can hear the power of her jazz education, as well as her being influenced by various music artists such as Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Alain Johannes, Nick Drake, and Joni Mitchell.
