Nova’s repertoire includes pieces by various classical music composers, including Bach, Haydn, Schubert, and Dvořak, as well as pieces by contemporary composers.

NOVA string quartet are four young music artists from the Primorska region who met in the Nova Philharmonic Orchestra. Ana and Polona are students of the Ljubljana Music Academy, while Mojca and Barbara have finished their Masters degrees at the same Academy. All are winners of prizes and recognitions at national and international music competitions.

For two years the quartet were active at the Music Academy under the mentorship of Professor Jaka Stadler. The ladies now regularly take part in training at various master classes and summer schools under the mentorship of renowned music teachers such as Professor Benjamin Ziervogel, Brian Finlayson, Ofer Canetti, Daniel Rowland, and others.

Nova’s repertoire includes pieces by various classical music composers, including Bach, Haydn, Schubert, and Dvořak, as well as pieces by contemporary composers. Covers and original pieces played by the quartet are written by Barbara Grahor.
