What is Lajnap? LAJNAP is us. A team!
Lajnap is our second joint project. We use it to share our message and take a new, entirely different perspective. Our message is clear; problems, questions, musings, and all those seemingly important details that make up our lives – they are actually quite funny and fun.
Saša Turković
Husband, father, businessman and the oldest member of the LAJNAP COMEDY crew. His demeanour and voice on stage reflect the earnest manners of a presidential candidate, yet what he says is as funny as Croatian pensions. Which he is quite concerned about, given his age. His jokes are like his spare time, short and bitter, without cursing or profanities; after all, he needs to watch his language in front of children. This is why Saša will gently gift-wrap his most evil ideas in a box made of decency, topping them up with a ribbon of sarcasm – all before you notice that you’re laughing your brains out.
Vlatko Štampar
For those who haven’t ‘sampled’ him yet, Vlatko will remain a never-discovered embodiment of the craziest thoughts we all keep in that part of our minds we choose to ignore for good reason. For those who have ‘sampled’ him, Vlatko was and remains a release valve, a pressure pump, a gateway to the most absurd associations that, alongside his incurable condition of stealing laughs unpunished, make him one of the best stand-up comedians around – well, other than Hungary!
Aleks Curać Šarić
This stand-up comedian from Rijeka took his rite of passage at the open mic night in the Zagreb venue Purgeraj in faraway 2006. To this very day, Aleks gathered an enviable collection of appearances, mostly in Johannesburg, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Budapest, Belgrade, major towns in Slovenia, and across all of Croatia. His style is best described as a careful dissection of relationships between men and women that, to put it mildly, are far from what Aleks knows best.
