BRO’s concerts are always a high-quality and amazingly positive musical experience, where you can hear lots of reggae classics on top of original music, reggae covers of Da Phenomena songs, and much more. Uncle Frank’s third studio album is coming right around the time of Festival Lent, and we’re definitely in for some good fun and party.

BRO

Mate Brodar a.k.a. BRO is a renowned music artist, well-versed in many a genre and style. The shape-shifter of styles, amazing vocalist, producer and music arranger broke a new path in June 2009 by releasing his first solo record.

The tunes on Serious Reggae Deviations cannot be crammed into a genre or style, but the record is definitely reggae-oriented. The main single on the record is Universe, which BRO chose for his first music video.

The second studio album Smoods followed in 2013 and featured a heavy-hitter line-up of featured artists, both from the ranks of musicians (Jani Hace, Marko Črnčec, Matej Horvat) and singers (Buda of Elvis Jackson fame, Jah Mason from Jamaica, Tshaka Junior, winner of the 2009 European Reggae Contest).

BRO is currently working on his third studio album that will definitely bring lots of interesting music, as it was recorded in Jamaica – a favourite hangout of BRO’s during the last few years.

A series of excellent and attention-raising gigs (Sziget Festival 2008 and 2013, Reggae Camp LB27 Budapest, Soča Riversplash, Overjam Festival) made BRO a staple of the reggae community.

BRO’s concerts are always a high-quality and amazingly positive musical experience, where you can hear lots of reggae classics on top of original music, reggae covers of Da Phenomena songs, and much more.

You can catch BRO live in stage in many line-ups:
- 5-member band: drums, bass, keyboards, vocals, backing vocals;
- solo or duo unplugged;
- 10-member band: the 5-member line-up joined on stage by a 5-member brass band.

UNCLE FRANK (Fun Lovin' Criminals) (GBR)

Multi-instrumentalists and producers Frank Benbini and Naim Cortazzi of Fun Lovin’ Criminals fame are back with an explosive new record Love Lion.

The world needs this kind of music, because it is real, it plays itself, makes us feel good, and because it’s truly original.

When the English radio stations National Radio, BBC6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and others took Uncle Frank’s music as their own, our favourite Uncle became a star on the English music scene, both on the radio and live.

Uncle Frank’s third studio album is coming right around the time of Festival Lent, and we’re definitely in for some good fun and party.
