The synergy of Lilith Cage, whose members hail from the Posavje and Primorska region, results in the reincarnation of the post-punk new wave spirit of the 1980’s and a finely-tuned feeling for sinister alternative music and psychedelic shoegaze. The music of Demolition Group is a high-powered mix of distortion and acoustic rhythms, rock and funk guitars, neurotic saxophone and archaic vocals.

LILITH CAGE

Shoegaze Psycho pop

In a time when female artists get more and more involved in alternative music, the quartet Lilith Cage, consisting of drummer Matjaž Pegan, guitar player Vili Domijan, and bass player Piro Pocecco, is most defined in terms of originality and character by the amazing voice of singer Lili Žigo.

The synergy of Lilith Cage, whose members hail from the Posavje and Primorska region, results in the reincarnation of the post-punk new wave spirit of the 1980’s and a finely-tuned feeling for sinister alternative music and psychedelic shoegaze.

The music of Lilith Cage brings to life both a sensual softness that grows with sophistication into a strong, disobedient and dangerous femininity, and the slow-burning revolt of punk and new-wave music of the 1980’s. A dreamy poetic atmosphere, with dark notes of sin and demonic simplicity of the underlying beat, covered by a contemplative sound of guitar and bass and bound together by the voice of a strong woman who defies a world ruled by machos, signals the dynamic birth of a unique genre of music.

The band are hard at work on their first studio album. Meanwhile, they are bringing their intense interpersonal chemistry to a stage near you.
