19.00 - The fourth day of the festival will be all about the Festival Diagonale. Diagonale was designed as a forum to present and discuss Austrian cinematography production. The aim and role of Diagonale is to provide nuanced, multi-faceted and critical research of Austrian cinematography and animation industry, bringing both to the centre of public attention and public discourse.
The festival will show three short experimental animated films: Doppelgänger (Friday the 13th and a full moon; Erich Taschenk dies in his bathroom. Is this really the time when the father exits the life of the movie maker?), CSL (under the pretence of wanting to shoot a movie, Christoph Schwarz begins to gather people of the same age who share the same name), and Operation Jane Walk (online presentation of urbanism, urban development and architecture amidst a simulated time setting). The screening starts at 20:00.
