Cristoph Doepke a.k.a. Dusty, chief of the record label Jazz & Milk and the Munich clubbing event of the same name, is a key player on the German clubbing culture and the walking embodiment of the old adage that an artist needn’t confine himself to a single music genre. Dusty builds his cuts on a broad spectre of styles, fusing some of his favourite elements like jazz, soul, Afrobeat, dub, cosmic, disco, boogie, and raw house rhythms, all while using clubbing music as a tool to find the natural balance between acoustic, electro, and traditional sound. He has an uncanny ability to get the dance floor moving wherever he goes without conforming to musical clichés.
