How a smile can turn into movement and unleash a strike of dance magic. Plesna izba are celebrating.
Plesna izba Maribor dance group are celebrating 30 years of round-the-year dance education. During the years in existence, the dance group allowed countless dancers to learn not only their bodies and the joy of moving to music, but also the mission of expressing oneself through modern dance art. This year, the Triglav Stage in the Art Camp will host dancers under the mentorship of Mojca Kasjak, Tanja Verglez, April Veselko, Monja Lorenčič, Maja Lamovšek, and Dalanda Diallo. A speciality of the Plesna izba dance group are original dance performances by young dancers, who are testing their choreography skills. The dancers have won bronze, silver, and gold medals at the national dance competition Opus.
