Moving circus show
Ward Mortier and Thomas Decaesstecker face and play with public space here and now. The duo take the audience, their travelling counterparts and followers on an acrobatic and theatrical excursion through the city that offers various instances of everyday life on the way. The plot of each performance depends on the specifics of the location ‘Be Flat’ appear at, and is always different and unique. Streets turn into a stage, house fronts into stage sets, cobblestones into a dance floor, and the honking of cars driving by into the music score.
