‘Gustoing’ music and poetry builds bridges between music and words.
Music and words are connected, yet still remain on separate sides. The word is sound and music is language, but music is also sound and the word is also language. The word can do through expression and interpretation what is unattainable to music, and vice-versa. This vastness of new opportunities in finding new artistic connections and creations is what drives the collaboration between young musicians from the Primorje region and members of the literary club GOvoRICA.
The idea behind the evening came from pianist and composer Anže Vrabec and harp player and lyric writer Tea Plaseničar. Joining them on stage are the string quartet NOVA, jazz guitarist Marko Čepak – Maki, and reciter Gaja Vudrag.
