Despite the tender age of 22, Jakob Kobal, the young singer-songwriter from Idrija, has already enjoyed a remarkable series of musical success.
He made a very successful appearance at the Ljubljana showcase festival MENT 2017. In January he even appeared at the famous music festival Eurosonic Noorderslag 2017 in Gröningen, the Netherlands. Last year Jakob made the EBBC (European Border Breakers Chart) music chart that features the most promising young musicians from Europe, all while his single Cloudless Skies made the list of Val 202 Radio’s most played songs of 2017. Jakob’s biggest musical influences include Ben Howard, Pink Floyd, Matt Costa, and others.
