Maxence Robinet a.k.a. Saint-James is a 25-year old up-and-coming DJ and collector from Paris, France, In 2015, he co-founded the record label Discomatin, and later founded the record label Chuwanaga in 2017 that drew the attention of the global music scene with the release of the compilation record In The Red in November last year.
Despite running two record labels, he somehow manages to run the Easter Sounds Festival, an Easter tradition of jazz-funk, jazz fusion, disco and funk in connection with the British jazz dance scene, jazz-rock and b-boying. On top of that, he runs the radio show Syncope on LeMellotron.com and is an active member and promoter of the French webzine Phonoraphe Corp.
