MRFY

… is an alter identity, hidden behind the common musical works of el padre singer/songwriter/guitarist Štras, bass player/back-vocalist Lennox, guitarist/back-vocalist Tomi and drummer Roks Herkyles. The story of MRFY began in 2013. Their first gig was in their hometown of Novo mesto at the international photography festival ‘Fotopub’ in August 2015. In November of the same year, they found a rehearsal space in Ljubljana and it became their creative temple. There they spent their days making music, rehearsing and expanding new ideas. Their first single 'Klic' came out around Christmas 2016 and things started escalating shortly after. They came out as a rather extravagant musical creature, gaining quite a lot of attention in the current year. Next, they put out a music video for the second single called Always in May 2017.

On both songs, they had the privilege of collaborating with one of the most influential Slovenian songwriters, singers and producers Tomislav Jovanovič – Tokac, who is also the leading member of one of the most popular Slovenian bands Dan D. In October 2017, they released the single Anakin with a new self-produced music video. They also won a TV show on national television, which got them a new video and two recording sessions in February. They are currently working on their debut album, which is expected to launch in in 2018.

MRFY is a four-member indie group from Novo mesto, Slovenia. Their purpose is to search and find solid ideas buried somewhere inside each individual, painted with original emotions and truths. They embarked on their path with very few but firm objectives:

I. Lose yourself first. Be scared, be unsure, run, swim, climb, dig, whatever you do, don't stop. Move forward, but don't forget to look back every once in a while.

II. Make sure you know what to keep and what to throw away. Not everything that glitters is gold. Not everything that stinks is shit. Sometimes the truth shows its honesty in the ugliest way, embrace it.

III. Accept the unknown, put it in the centre of your mind, wipe away the dirt and when it's recognised completely, deliver its beauty with all the vibes and the powers it holds.

There is also one last objective. This one is for each and every one of you to build for yourself. Not all journeys can be fulfilled; if you trust us, we will conquer some for you.

This manifesto was made by these objectives.

ZALA KRALJ & GAŠPER ŠANTL

A duo that complete each other. Both took their best elements and brought them to music. Vocals that take you away, completed by emotional production.

They built the hype with their song Valovi (Waves), which got a lot of airtime on radio stations and social media. They continued their path with Baloni (Balloons). What they are trying to tell us with their music is that you don't have to be a great speaker to say something. And they share some bittersweet perspectives on the world.

"Does the moon even know of water, how it affects habits and oceans." (Valovi / Waves)

Their repertoire consists mostly of original music and two of your future favourite covers.
