Anže and Neža are twins. They’ve always played together, laughed at the same time, cried the same tears, spoke their first words together. But after turning six, they all of a sudden found out they’re different – Anže got a blue school bag and a blue football, while Neža got a pink school bag, a pair of pink knitting needles and a yarn of pink wool. All of a sudden they’re faced with a world where helping Dad in the garage is not a thing for girls and Anže cannot help Mom to make pancakes. Boys and girls don’t hang out at school either.
All of a sudden, the monsters ‘Rozagroza’ and ‘Plavalava’ are after our twins, trying to tell them how boys and girls are supposed to do different things. Will Anže and Neža be able to fight back the roles society wants to bestow upon them?
