The band recently released their first official single Čarobni vrt that hit their fans like a flash with its fresh and graceful character.

MUFF

Muff are a Slovenian pop band founded in 2011, whose music has been produced by Anže Kacafura – Cazzafura since the beginning. You hear their music nearly every day, sometimes even several times per day. It could be said their music has been on the mind of many a music lover.

Muff’s big breakthrough came when they ‘lent’ part of their song Naj sije v očeh for a commercial. The song put them squarely on the musical map. Even if it sounds a bit unfair, as the band had previously recorded a few really good songs, Naj sije v očeh was the 2012 most played Slovenian radio song.

Since then it was nothing but up for Muff and their concerts keep getting better and better.

In 2014, they placed second at Ema, the Slovenian Eurovision Song Contest primary, with Let Me Be (Myself), and appeared at the Viktorji media awards event with Uspavanka a few months later. Their first studio album Muff was released on 15 November 2014 and earned them the ‘Golden Pipe’ award for best record of 2014.

In 2018, they released an EP entitled Unity. The band will present the songs from their upcoming studio album live in concert at Festival Lent.

Muff released a new EP on 6 April, featuring 6 songs, 4 new and two previously released that have not yet been featured on any record.

The band is currently promoting their first single from the new album, entitled Ti si ta.

The band celebrated the release of the latest EP on 6 April in grand style, with a concert at Ljubljana’s Cvetličarna, the same place they nearly sold out three years ago.

After a creative hiatus that lasted nearly a year during which some band members explored the musical landscape on the other side of the Pond, and some members took the roads less travelled on the local scene, Muff are now returning with brand new songs they call fresh and not burdened by genre.

The band decided to call their new project UNITY, as it relates to their personal story and describes the mood of the times, marked by a divided society, inequality between the sexes, no solidarity with weaker groups of society, and total oblivion to the fact that each group and each individual are only part of the mosaic that builds a bigger story. According to Muff, each part of the mosaic shapes the final picture.
